Strange Counting
Strange Counting
A guy is walking past a high, solid wooden fence at the insane asylum and he hears all the residents inside chanting, "Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen!"
He continues walking along the long fence, but, being a curious person, he can't help but wonder why they are chanting "Thirteen!" over and over. Could it be that they are chugging beer? Are they perhaps taking turns beating one of the inmates? Maybe they are counting the number of patients that have leaped off of the roof thus far.
His curiosity peaks and he frantically searches for a hole in the fence so that he may see what is going on. Finally, he spots one a few feet ahead. The hole is low in the fence and he has to kneel down to peer inside.
He moves into position and peeks into the hole. As he looks in, someone inside pokes him in the eye! Then everyone inside the asylum starts chanting, "Fourteen! Fourteen! Fourteen!"

Crappy Coffee
Crappy Coffee
My friend, Steve, has an unusually (un~) appetizing post about a very special kind of coffee over at his blog, My Pointless.
I like coffee just like those of you who read this blog, but hey, I think they'd have to pay me to drink that stuff. What do you think?
Now that would be the first time you'd ever hear a coffee connoisseur say, "Mmmmm...now that's goooood...errrr............coffee!"

CuppaJoe's MadLibs
CuppaJoe's MadLibs
Job Cover Letter
I am qualified for this job because I'm clever. I got a college education at CuppacinJoe's CoffeeHouse and I majored in friends. I consider myself very smart because I'm coffee~savvy. I'll be working to support my wife and our three huge families. I'm looking for a job that pays between 2 and 1 million dollars a year.
I have experience using introverted chickens and creamer. I have a meticulous attitude that makes me good for singing. I think these, among many other qualifications, make me the most precise candidate for this job.
Sincerely,
CuppacinJoe

Sled~Riding Chicken
Sled~Riding Chicken
When this story came on the national news this morning I couldn't resist sharing it at Cuppacinjoe's.
It's amazing what some chickens will do to get on TV! Better than flying and certainly better than frying.
I immediately thought of my Buddy,Speedcat when I saw it, and even though Speedcat's Wordless Chicken Tuesdays is no longer happening, I had to resurrect it today, a Monday, for all you fans of chicken, and sledding and Speedcat and fun. It's the right day, any day, for a smile.
So grab your cuppa joe and watch this!
